A link on the Alaska Bridge

Here you go. So it's not $50BB as I heard that night, but still, as the article state:

The next-largest chunk in Alaska's award is $223 million to help build another bridge: an estimated $315 million project connecting Ketchikan, population 8,000, with neighboring Gravina Island, population 50.


$223 million for a population of 50? Thats $4,460,000 per resident. Doesn't that seem a little crazy?
