Who is Mike Huckabee?

I believe that 18 to 24 months is really too long to campaign for President, so I don't blame anyone who has not been paying much attention to this point. However, if you have not heard of or don't know much about Mike Huckabee, I would strongly suggest you take a look at this exchange during the 9/5/07 Republican debate between Huckabee and the wing-nut Ron Paul.

Mike Huckabee may not have the name and face recognition of Giuliani, McCain, Romney, or Thompson, but as of right now he has my support.

I would love to see some poll numbers on a Thompson / Huckabee ticket for '08.

##That's my opinion##

BAAAAAAAH BAAAAAH LITTLE SHEEPPPPIE,,, Lets all follow the leader blindly because it sounds PATRIOTIC !!! When true patriotism is most often akin to descent. Why fix the problem when you can bury your head in the sand.

Anonymous, your comment intimates that you would prefer to follow Ron Paul's advice. If that position was not so extremely disturbing, it would be laughable. Do you believe that Iraq is like Vietnam? We are not at war against a country. We are at war against radical Islam and the current front line is Iraq. Unlike Vietnam, if we leave now, they follow us home. Ron Paul's position ("come home and mind our own business")would lead to socialism, multiculturalism, and the fall of the United States just as those forces destroyed the Roman empire. Those who do not pay attention to history are doomed to repeat it.

In addition, had we not gone into Iraq, we would be facing an nuclear weapons race between Iran and Iraq, which no one seems to be pointing out. Having India and Pak with their fingers on the button is bad enough, but a world with a nuclear Iran and Iraq is a world that we can not afford to live in.

So, nice try anonymous. You wanna take another shot?
