I support our goals in Iraq, but I simply do not understand why our soldiers are exposed to the such high levels of risk. Why do we have 3 guys by themselves guarding a check point? If the check point is worth guarding, shouldn't we have more resources available to guard it? If we don't have more resources, maybe that particular check point should not be manned. We can not continue to expose our soliders to unrealistic levels of risk. I don't pretend to understand the logistics of war, but I do understand that 3 guys by themselves in a war zone is not a good idea.
