What are the qualifications YOU desire in a President?

I have had many discussions, with many different people about this, and I have a list. Here is mine, what is yours?

1. Someone who has lead people in the past
2. Someone who has run a successful organization
3. Someone who has patience
4. Someone who has a proven ability to work with others
5. Someone who has the understanding that the government does not hold all the answers
6. Someone who realizes this is a REPUBLIC

That is my list. The perfect ticket for me (based on this list and what I know now about the candidates) is a Romeny / Huckabee ticket. Give me your list and your perfect ticket.

My list is simple, someone who will uphold the Constitution of the United States and someone who is pro-life.

I like Romney/Huckabee, too.

Yes sir. Sign me up. In my opinion there are no perfect candidates, but a Romney/Huckabee ticket sounds like a good start. If everyone would take a few minutes to watch the debates, and I mean both Dem and Rep, it would really open their eyes. How each candidate reponds, or doesn't respond, to each question speaks volumes about their character and ability.

My qualifications:
1) Pledge to read, understand, and uphold the Constitution of the United States.
2) Have experience running more than his mouth

That's it. My entire list. If the President does that, then he will establish enough goverment to provide a framework to allow America to thrive but not so much that it gets in the way.

My ticket would be Huckabee / Lieberman or Huckabee / McCain
I feel Mitt has brought too much baggage to be effective. To much of an insider. Plus I LOVE the underdog.
