What were they thinking?

During the execution of Saddam, camera phone video clips were captured. "In the version doing the rounds of Sadr City, members of the execution party could be heard taunting Saddam by chanting Sadr's name: "Moqtada, Moqtada, Moqtada!" http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20061231/wl_mideast_afp/iraqexecutionsaddam_061231174002

At this quintessential moment, the members of the execution party could have thought of many things. They could have thought of the new Iraqi potential, or a life without a dictator, or their children growing up with a chance at more than death. But at least some of the Iraqi's gathered to see Saddam put to death thought of Moqtada al Sadr - a political thug at best.

What were they thinking?

##That's my opinion##
