I can't believe it got over 40 votes. It's a shame that we the people had to lay seige to Washington via phone, mail, and email to get our elected officials attention. The Repuplic worked today and God Bless our founding fathers.
But you have to admit that even all those conservatives who opposed the immigration bill don't offer any real alternative or, to put it another way nobody is really for rounding up the millions and millions of illegals and deporting them so for all practical purposes the aliens are enjoying the privilege of being here even though they have no right to. Sean Hannity rants and rants but he still defends the status quo, so we defeat the immigration bill and pretend they're not here, it ain't no solution either. The law is the law is the law and they could all be deported though I don't really hear anyone saying this, politician-wise that is.
